Later she appeared in big screen making her debut in the movie Sano Sansar as a lead actress in 2008. Her role was much appreciated and she grew to the fame in quicker succession.

Shristi Shrestha, Miss Nepal 2012 is one of the top models in Nepal. In fact, her work has been well appreciated outside Nepal too. She is among the most wanted models in India as well and as recently featured in an Indian music video. In Miss World 2012, she reached till quarter finals making her the first ever Nepali to ever advance to the quarter finals in the Miss World Pageant. She also got into the top 10 list of Miss Multimedia in the international beauty event and was also honored as top 10 dancers. She was born in Nepal but shifted to London at an early age. She pursued her modeling in UK. She had stared B. Sc. Nursing career but failed to complete it. She was the first model – turned film actress. She grew to fame in 1997 after being crowned Miss Nepal that year. She was only 16 then. She also became the first Miss Nepal to participate in Miss World. The international beauty pageant that year was held at Baie Lazare, Seychelles on November 22, 1997.

Sushma Karki is also a popular name in the entertainment and glamour industry in Nepal. In the earlier days of her career, she appeared in a television youth soap. Further, she featured in various music videos where she got to show her talent. She is considered a very hot and sizzling actress which was well portrayed by her hit item number “Udhreko Choli”. She kick started her acting in the bigger screen from the move “Mer Euta Sathi Chha”.
